Junior Automation Engineer

As part of our team, you'll be instrumental in
developing and implementing advanced automation solutions
, with a particular
focus on optimizing our smart farming applications

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automation scripts and control logic using Python for smart farming applications.
  • Work with edge devices like NVIDIA Jetson or Raspberry Pi for localized data processing and control.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design, test, and deploy robust automation solutions in agricultural environments.
  • Contribute to code reviews and maintain clear documentation of your work.
  • Become a core member of our team, actively participating in brainstorming and discussion sessions, and contributing to the exchange of ideas and solution identification.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field.
  • Proficiency in Python programming for scripting, data analysis, and developing control logic.
  • Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and terminal commands.
  • Hands-on experience with edge AI devices, such as NVIDIA Jetson or Raspberry Pi.
  • Good problem-solving and solution design skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with robotic control systems or ROS2 development.
  • Knowledge of sensor integration and data processing (e.g., Lidar, GPS, IMU).
  • Experience with AI-based computer vision tasks, including Object Detection, Instance Segmentation, Semantic Segmentation, and Classification.
  • Hands-on experience with PyTorch for AI model development.
  • Prior hands-on experience with agricultural machinery or similar automated platforms.
