Join our team as an Accountant for the Caleb Brett Business Line at Intertek Greece.

Caleb Brett provides cargo inspections and analytical assessments for the oil, mining, minerals, and biofuels industries.

You will join the Finance Department, working from our offices in Athens, in the Kifisia area.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with members of the Greek and Italian Finance teams.

As Accountant you will bring your distinctive contribution by:

  • drafting general, adjusting and settlement accounting entries for the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual trial balance for Greek and Group purposes
  • dealing with accounts receivables, accounts payables and bank reconciliations
  • reporting to the parent company
  • reporting for Greek purposes
  • analysing business line P&L variances and discussing of same with BL manager
  • supporting in administrative activities and business lines

Requirements

Are you the one?

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in economics or accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the role, gained in international contexts
  • Fluent knowledge of the English language
  • Good skills in Office, especially Excel
  • Softone knowledge and usage would be preferred
  • Proactivity, learning ability, team player
  • Precision and attention to detail
