Accounting Associate

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client Ledvance, is seeking an experienced Accounting Associate.

Ledvance is one of the world's leading companies in the lighting industry, providing cutting-edge LED lamps, smart home products and tailored lighting solutions for commercial and industrial environments and is currently expanding into the renewable energy solutions business.

Location: Kifissia, Athens

You will be reporting to: Accounting Supervisor

• Bookkeeping for GL postings / Vendor Invoices / Fixed assets / Employee Expenses / Payments.
• Handling of accounts payable.
• Issue invoices to customers and external partners.
• Responsible for bank accounts reconciliation.
• Arrange payments of suppliers, employee expenses and company's liabilities.
• Responsible for liquidity reporting / Forecasting.
• Participate in "My Data" processes.
• Take part in the process of Intrastat Preparation.
• Record keeping and archiving of all signed contracts of the company.
• Responsible for fixed assets.
• Fleet Management.
• Tolls Management.
• Provide data to the sustainability Μanager upon request and update monthly files.
• Support in month end/year end closing.
• Maintain archiving of digital and physical financial records.
• Support in statutory and tax audit.
• Credit control deputy.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks / reports requested by the CFO or supervisor.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance.
• At least 3 years' proven experience in accounting or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in English both written & spoken.
• Proficient user of MS Office, especially in Excel.
• ERP knowledge (SAP knowledge will be considered as an asset).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Well organized, hard-working, reliable.
• A positive approach, good listener, and team player spirit.
• Efficient in time management, prioritize tasks and deadline oriented.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
