Starting with the role:

We are searching to hire an Accountant (Fixed Term) for efficient, timely and accurate processing of accounting tasks to join our team.

During your day you will:
  • Record accounting transactions (i.e., revenue, expenses, fixed assets, payroll, receivables, myDATA) in accordance with relevant statutory regulations
  • Track assets' depreciation and monitor fixed asset register
  • Monitor and ensure that accounting tasks (accounts payables, receivables, etc.) are performed as per established policies and processes (i.e., processing and verification of invoices, accounts reconciliation, performing accounting entries and cost centers update)
  • Prepare year-end journal entries, month-end closing activities, as well as quarterly financial statements (BPC files)
  • Prepare monthly VAT returns and monthly/ quarterly tax obligations (i.e., withholding tax returns, stamp duty returns, list of agreements, etc.)
  • Prepare accounting reports and statistical data requests
  • Process and review aging analysis to ensure compliance to accounting standards
  • Perform master data management for accounting related matters
What you need to stand out:
  • BSc degree in Economics or Accounting
  • 3-5 years of experience at Accounting functions (C' books category)
  • Very good understanding of Accounting, IFRS and transaction Hellenic tax code (KFAS)
  • Good experience in ERP systems
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written proficiency)
  • Very good knowledge on MS Office tools
  • Accounting license (preferable – non-compulsory)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team spirit
