International Key Account Manager
.
Role Purpose
The role is responsible for managing and expanding strategic international accounts by building long-term client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the delivery of customized engineered solutions.
The International Key Account Manager will support the organization's commercial strategy by executing account plans, coordinating cross-functionally, and strengthening the company's presence in targeted regions and industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strong, trusted partnerships with international clients by understanding their business goals and industry challenges.
- Create and implement detailed account plans focusing on retention, growth, and new business opportunities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring alignment with technical and commercial capabilities.
- Manage the full sales cycle—from opportunity identification and proposal development to contract negotiation and deal closure.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product development, project management, and after-sales) to deliver tailored client solutions.
- Monitor account performance against key metrics including satisfaction, revenue growth, and contract compliance.
- Identify and resolve client issues proactively, ensuring service excellence and business continuity.
- Track industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to adapt account strategies.
- Represent the company at international exhibitions, trade shows, and client events to promote solutions and strengthen partnerships.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related); MBA or advanced commercial qualifications are an advantage.
- 3–7 years of experience in managing international B2B key accounts within industrial automation, process engineering, or related technical sectors.
- Proven track record of revenue growth, account expansion, and managing complex, multi-stakeholder relationships.
- Strong experience managing the full sales cycle and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable working in multicultural environments and across multiple regions.
