Job Description
Scorpios Group is looking for a credible Financial Controller that will act as the financial right hand to the Development & Project teams during the pre-opening and construction phase of the Branded Residences and additional strategic projects. This is a hybrid role where financial rigor meets creative flexibility. You will ensure transparency, accuracy, and efficiency across budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking

Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and update detailed cost plans for real estate and hospitality development projects
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Procurement, and HQ Finance to validate capex and opex spending
  • Track construction and consultant budgets, flagging deviations and risks proactively
  • Assist in project feasibility studies, cash flow projections, and scenario modeling
  • Review contracts and payment schedules with a financial lens
  • Consolidate financial reports and performance indicators for internal stakeholders and investors
  • Support the integration of financial systems and reporting tools relevant to project control
  • Participate in broader group-side strategic and financial planning where needed

Job Requirements – Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in financial control, cost management, or project accounting
  • Solid background in hospitality, real estate development, or construction projects
  • Advanced Excel skills (and ideally ERP/BI tools familiarity such as Power BI or NetSuite)
  • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a creative, fast-evolving, cross-cultural environment
  • Fluent in English
