We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance Division at TSIMIS S.A., a certified Great Place to Work for 2025. This role is based at our main offices in Moschato and plays a key part in ensuring financial accuracy, tax compliance, and smooth reporting processes. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate financial statements and ensure timely month-end and year-end closings in accordance with IFRS.

Conduct monthly reconciliations across accounting and commercial systems, and ensure consistency in reporting.

Analyze budget variances and assist with financial forecasting and tender participation.

Maintain accurate records for tax filings (VAT, withholding taxes, income tax), and support submission processes.

Ensure proper use of the MyDATA platform and support compliance-related activities.

Support external audits to ensure adherence to financial policies and standards.

Participate in cost analysis, profitability studies, and financial process improvements.

Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain financial controls and enhance efficiency.

What you will need to excel in this role:

At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar accounting role.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field (Master's degree is a plus).

Solid knowledge of Greek accounting and tax legislation.

Proficiency in ERP systems and strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.

Fluency in Greek and a good command of English.

Excellent analytical and reporting skills.

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to deadlines.

Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
