Role Description
We are seeking an experienced
Head of Accounting
to join our Finance Division at Tsimis, a certified

for 2025. This role is based at our offices in
Moschato
and is ideal for a finance professional with deep knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and team leadership. You will be at the forefront of ensuring full financial compliance and reporting integrity across all operations.
Main Responsibilities
· Ensure smooth, compliant operation of the Accounting Department.
· Supervise monthly & annual closings; prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) according to IFRS.
· Manage budgeting & monitor budget vs actuals, highlighting key insights and risks.
· Perform monthly ERP reconciliations (purchases, sales, payroll, fixed assets, VAT, INTRASTAT).
· Lead MyDATA submissions; support audits & inspections.
· Liaise with auditors, tax advisors & authorities.
· Guide and develop your accounting team.
· Recommend improvements to systems, workflows & controls.
Qualifications
· At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting, with 3+ years in a managerial or leadership role.
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a relevant field (Master's degree is a plus).
· Valid A' Class Accountant license.
· Strong knowledge of Greek tax, labor, commercial law, & IFRS.
· Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Fluency in Greek and a very good command of English.
· High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
