Responsibilities

  • Responsible for designing and implementing of Accounting Module/Platform in collaboration with the Chief Accountant.
  • Processes transactions within accounting module, reviews and approves entries posted by Accountants.
  • Reviews revenue based on supporting documents in order to ensure timely closing of accounts.
  • Prepares monthly account reconciliations and any other relevant documents.
  • Posts entries to provide accurate settlement with clients.
  • Coordinates closely with the Purchasing department to resolve Accounts Payable invoice issues.
  • Checks and posts entries for Lubricants' Cost remaining on board per vessel on a monthly basis.
  • Checks Insurance and Claims completeness on a monthly basis.
  • Prepares the monthly vessel reporting for operational and financial analysis and follows up on results.
  • Monitors intercompany reconciliations.

Qualifications / Experienc

  • eUniversity graduate on Accounting, Finance or any related field
  • .Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position
  • .Professional Qualifications (CPA,ACCA,ACA), A' Class signing right and knowledge of Navision will be considered an Asset
  • .Fluency in English
  • .Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • .Ability to work under strict deadlines and pressur
  • eAttention to detail, analytical and organizational skills
  • .Communication skills
