Production Manager - Oman

Pharmakas Quarries, specializing in the Construction Materials Industry, is seeking to recruit a Production Manager based in Oman.

The Position:

· Oversee daily quarry operations, including extraction, processing, and loading activities

· Ensure that production targets are met in line with company goals

· Coordinate with plant managers and production teams to optimize the production schedule

· Ensure that all quarry operations comply with safety regulations, health standards, and environmental laws

· Conduct regular safety inspections and implement safety protocols

· Manage the allocation and maintenance of quarry equipment and machinery

· Optimize resource usage, including materials, labor, and energy, to maximize productivity and minimize costs

· Lead and manage a team of quarry workers, engineers, and supervisors

· Plan and develop quarry production strategies and processes

· Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs without compromising on safety or quality

· Liaise with senior management on budget updates and financial reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering
  • Strong understanding of quarry processes
  • Must be willing to work in Oman
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the mining industry
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications

What we offer:

· Competitive salary range: $40,000 - $60,000 annually
