The position is based in Athens.

Position requirements:

Reconcile of all balance sheet accounts and clear all reconciling items on a daily/timely basis.

Prepare daily journal entries necessary to complete financial statements, including reports.

Accounting entries for double-entry bookkeeping

Reconciling customer-supplier balances with General Ledger balances

Reconciling fixed asset register with General Ledger balances

Preparation of tax declarations and obligations (VAT, VIES, INTRASTAT, myDATA, withholding taxes)

Implementation of tax procedures and obligations

Monthly reporting

Supervision of payroll processing

Requirements

Skills & Abilities

Degree in Accounting or Finance

Proficiency in English and computer skills

Excellent command of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Knowledge of Income Tax and VAT

Familiarity with the full range of accounting tasks

Knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards (GAS)

Teamwork skills

Strong planning, organizational, and deadline management abilities

Confidentiality, discretion, and adaptability

Education

Graduates Bachelor's degree and/or diploma in the related field

Computer Knowledge and experience in MS office programs
