Chief of Staff & Performance Coach to the CEO

Athens, Greece

We are an
international trading company with 100–120 employees
, operating in a fast-moving global market. We are seeking a
hands-on professional
to serve as the
right hand of the CEO
, with direct responsibility for office operations and staff performance.

This role combines
strategic execution and people management
. You will work closely with the CEO, ensuring that company priorities are delivered, staff performance is managed, and the organization remains aligned and disciplined. The position requires both firmness in decision-making and the ability to support and develop people to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CEO daily to execute company priorities and maintain operational discipline.
  • Attract, recruit and hire
    talented people to strengthen the team.
  • Address underperformance
    , including the responsibility to terminate staff who are not meeting expectations.
  • Act as an
    internal mediator
    , resolving conflicts and maintaining a professional work environment.
  • Evaluate employees
    , preparing clear proposals for promotions, role adjustments, or corrective actions.
  • Manage
    salaries, bonuses, and performance-based incentives
    , ensuring fair and motivating compensation structures.
  • Align all departments to the
    CEO's vision
    and keep teams focused on shared goals.
  • Build
    accountability systems
    that encourage consistent and high-quality performance.
  • Lead special projects requiring discretion and speed

  • Experience in a leadership, HR, or operational management role.
  • Strong judgment and ability to make
    difficult personnel decisions
