Currently, we are looking to bring on board a qualified Deputy Manager for the Container Terminal Department

What you will need to do:

  • Support the Manager in overseeing all Container Terminal functions and strategic initiatives

  • Ensure smooth and efficient operations in Vessel Planning, Yard Planning, Equipment Control, and Machinery coordination

  • Assign and coordinate tasks to meet departmental objectives and operational targets

  • Ensure safe, efficient and smooth execution of all operations

  • Promote and maintain a strong Health & Safety culture across all activities

  • Monitor and improve departmental KPIs while supporting budget efficiency

  • Contribute to strategic direction and lead operational improvement project

  • Identify risks, resolve escalated issues, and ensure business continuity

  • Encourage teamwork and constructive relationships to achieve departmental goals

  • Participation in internal committees as required by company procedures

  • Cooperate with other departments on cross-functional issues and joint activities

  • Ensure the implementation of all company policies, processes, and guidelines

What skills you will need:

  • Bachelor degree in Logistics, Shipping, Engineering, Business Administration or related field; a Master's degree would be considered an asset

  • At least 5 years of experience in senior roles in port operations or a related logistics environment, including supervisory responsibilities

  • Excellent computer skills

  • Excellent command of Greek and English

  • Critical decision-making skills, initiative taking, ability to adapt and prioritize under pressure

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate, motivate teams and deliver results

  • Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills

  • Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving orientation
