Tankers owning company, is seeking for an experienced Technical Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Only CVs with minimum 5 years' consecutive experience in same position will be processed.
  • Marine Engineer graduate and/or Chief Engineer License.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Providing the best possible technical advice to the Management under strict transparency;
  • Being constantly aware of the situation and performance of the ships, the maintenance status and the repairs required;
  • Go after Company's budget requirements and suggest improvements of the Technical matters overall costs;
  • Selecting and evaluating subcontractors;
  • Applying procedures and plans in order to improve effectiveness and reduce maintenance costs;
  • Planning, preparing, reviewing and authorizing repair and dry-docking specifications and developing efficient repair methods;
  • Prioritization the technical support requirements of vessels on a continuous time basis and the coordination of the Superintendents' manpower accordingly;
  • Monitoring the performance of Superintendents to ensure that ships are operated, maintained, and repaired safely and efficiently;
  • Developing trouble-shooting methodologies and procedures;
  • Commenting on new Company plans and evaluating sales/purchases of second-hand ships;
  • Excellent knowledge of handling H&M and P+I Technical matters;
  • Establishing and follow-up Company's statistical analysis and programs/KPIs;
  • Advising the HSQE on any technical matter related to SMS and reporting on matters that deviate from SMS procedures;
  • Be overall responsible for the implementation of the Energy Efficiency, sustainability, Environmental requirements and GHG Emissions reduction (EEDI-EEXI-EEOI).
  • Flexibility to travel onboard the vessels for efficiency verification and items for improvement.
