What We are looking for

We are looking for a Technical Compliance Manager, who will be responsible for supporting key projects for our international expansion plan, as well as for maintaining the regulatory compliance status of Novibet in all relevant jurisdictions. As a Technical Compliance Manager, you will will be reporting to the Regulatory Compliance Director and working closely with key stakeholders across the organization.

What you will work on

  • Taking the lead role in ensuring the company remains compliant with all relevant technical regulations, license requirements and certifications
  • Taking ownership of all technical compliance aspects of regulations and best practice standards
  • Conducting periodic internal reviews and audits to test ongoing compliance
  • Arranging, preparing for and managing external audits, and reporting their findings to the relevant personnel, and relevant regulators
  • Analyzing action points and non-compliances raised in audits, and ensuring that they are addressed in accordance with agreed deadlines
  • Investigate tech requirements for new markets and assist with developing solutions for that market
  • Work closely with the relevant regulators to ensure the company is compliant, including acting as a point of contact for such bodies and to notify them of key events as required
  • Assisting with translation of regulatory requirements into system and game requirements
  • Supporting the delivery of projects including the technical implementation of new regulatory requirements
  • Acting as first point of reference for senior management for questions relating to the technical standards and regulatory compliance
  • Continuously assess product, compliance, and operational risks, and develop risk management strategies for the organization, and scheduling of compliance tasks

What you bring

  • University and/or Postgraduate Degree in a relevant field
  • At least 2 years' experience working in in technical or compliance position within the gambling industry for an operator, platform, supplier, Test Lab or similar
  • Understanding of Online Gambling Legislation and being able to extract requirements and create gap assessments and user stories
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
  • A critical thinker, with an analytical approach to work that can recommend constructive solutions
  • Experience of working with regulators, licensing bodies and other third parties
