We are hiring a dedicated Customer Account Specialist to provide high-level, remote support for a leading global digital payment platform. The Opportunity: This role is unique: it combines initial at-home training with the ongoing flexibility of a fully work-from-home operational model. You will be the trusted advisor for small businesses and merchants, helping them navigate account security, transaction issues, billing, and using the platform's advanced features for their e-commerce and retail operations. High-level customer service and attention to detail are paramount.
What You Will Do:
- Account Support: Manage a portfolio of merchant accounts, addressing and resolving complex inquiries related to payment processing, funds transfers, chargebacks, and security protocols.
- Risk Mitigation: Adhere strictly to regulatory compliance and security procedures to safeguard customer accounts and proprietary data.
- Remote Training & Support: Participate in initial comprehensive virtual training sessions and seamlessly transition to full-time remote customer support operations.
- Problem Resolution: Utilize internal tools and resources to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve technical and financial discrepancies.
- Proactive Communication: Communicate clearly and professionally with clients via phone, email, and chat, translating complex financial and technical information into understandable terms.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Language Fluency: Native or near-native proficiency in Dutch is mandatory, along with professional working proficiency in English (B2 minimum).
- Industry Experience: Previous experience (1-2 years) in banking, financial services, payment processing, or high-volume customer service is highly desirable.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous approach to handling sensitive financial data and documentation.
- Remote Readiness: Must be a disciplined self-starter with a reliable, private home office environment and the technical capacity to support a high-volume remote role.
- Soft Skills: Proven ability to remain calm and empathetic while handling sensitive or escalated customer issues.

Wat U Zult Doen:
- Accountondersteuning: Een portfolio van handelaarsaccounts beheren, waarbij complexe vragen met betrekking tot betalingsverwerking, geldovermakingen, terugboekingen en beveiligingsprotocollen worden behandeld en opgelost.
- Risicobeperking: Zich strikt houden aan de regelgeving en beveiligingsprocedures om klantaccounts en bedrijfseigen gegevens te beschermen.
- Training en Ondersteuning op Afstand: Deelnemen aan initiële uitgebreide virtuele trainingssessies en naadloos overgaan naar fulltime operaties voor klantenondersteuning op afstand.
- Probleemoplossing: Interne tools en middelen gebruiken om technische en financiële verschillen efficiënt op te lossen en te verhelpen.
- Proactieve Communicatie: Duidelijk en professioneel communiceren met klanten via telefoon, e-mail en chat, waarbij complexe financiële en technische informatie in begrijpelijke termen wordt vertaald.
Wat U Nodig Heeft om te Slagen:
- Taalvaardigheid: Vloeiende beheersing van het Nederlands (moedertaal of bijna-moedertaal) is verplicht, samen met professionele werkvaardigheid in het Engels (minimaal B2).
- Ervaring in de Industrie: Eerdere ervaring (1-2 jaar) in bankwezen, financiële diensten, betalingsverwerking of klantenservice met een hoog volume is zeer wenselijk.
- Aandacht voor Detail: Uitzonderlijke organisatorische vaardigheden en een nauwgezette aanpak bij het omgaan met gevoelige financiële gegevens en documentatie.
- Klaar voor Thuiswerken: Moet een gedisciplineerde zelfstarter zijn met een betrouwbare, privé-thuiskantooromgeving en de technische capaciteit om een rol met een hoog volume op afstand te ondersteunen.
- Zachte Vaardigheden: Aantoonbaar vermogen om kalm en empathisch te blijven bij het afhandelen van gevoelige of geëscaleerde klantproblemen.
