So what's the challenge…
Do you want to make an impact as a Retail Network Controlling Analyst by turning data into strategic decisions?
Act as a key link between Retail, Operations, and Finance by delivering clear financial insights and reports. Support strategic decisions through business planning, KPI benchmarking, and identifying drivers that enhance retail network performance and sustainability.
Your day to day will include:
- Collecting, validating, and reconciling data from multiple sources to produce accurate and insightful performance reports
- Conducting advanced, ad-hoc, and recurring analyses on business operations, channels, and products to support strategic decisions
- Applying performance and viability models to evaluate commercial initiatives, project revenue impact, and support business planning
- Assessing retail network viability and financial sustainability, identifying risks, and supporting improvement actions (e.g. investments, financial support schemes)
- Monitoring performance vs. targets, P&L, cash flow, and ROI of commercial initiatives, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities
- Supporting the design of commercial policies, incentive schemes, and segmentation strategies through data-driven analysis
- Translating performance insights into actionable recommendations aligned with business goals and market dynamics
What you need to succeed:
- BSc in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field. MSc in Data Science is considered a plus
- 2+ years of experience in Retail or Finance, ideally in a fast-paced or data-driven environment
- Strong coding skills with proven experience in Python, SQL, and machine learning tools (SAS, R, or SPSS Modeler)
- Solid knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI) and advanced use of Excel
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets, develop P&L models, and deliver actionable insights
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills; results-oriented and detail-focused
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Greek
- Proficient in MS Office, with hands-on experience in financial projections and feasibility analysis considered a plus
