Role Purpose

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to become part of a small team of highly experienced ex-consultants and investors that builds the company's finance and analytics capabilities from scratch.

The role will be responsible for the financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization. They will also contribute in commercial trends analysis, operational performance tracking and market research. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical mindset & financial modeling skills, very good understanding of accounting principles, and excellent communication abilities.

The role is critical in developing a finance function that meets the standards of a private equity owned business and drive the business forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial, commercial, operational reports
• Develop, update and handle detailed financial models for strategic budgeting purposes (i.e. network expansion, transformation initiatives, financing etc.)
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans
• Track and analyze key financial, commercial and operational KPIs; develop ad-hoc analyses, reports, variance analyses to offer insights into financial & operational performance
• Support in the formulation of commercial strategy, goalsetting and performance tracking
• Assist in the development and automation of dashboards, reports, and visualizations to improve efficiency in reporting
• Assist in the preparation of materials for executive presentations and BoD meetings

Qualifications & Experience

• BSc and MSc in Finance, Business Administration or related field; professional certifications (i.e. CFA, ACCA) considered a plus
• 3-5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, commercial analysis or corporate finance
• Previous in-house role in multi-site retail / hospitality / service-based environments or consulting house experience (Big4 or other) will be highly valued
• Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proven experience in working with BI and data analytics software (MS Power BI or other) will be considered a plus
