Job Description

Mediterranean College seeks to appoint a
Programme Leader
in the School of Shipping. The successful candidate will be responsible for the academic oversight of a portfolio of programmes, undertaking management duties, and delivering teaching in both Greek and English.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's and bachelor's degrees in economics, business or maritime studies
  • Academic and/or professional qualifications in shipping/ maritime studies
  • Excellent command of the English language, both oral and written
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a relevant subject area
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a relevant field

Desirable Qualifications and Characteristics:

  • PhD in a relevant subject
  • Familiarity with the British educational system
  • Proven teaching effectiveness
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Innovative thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Responsibility and reliability
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
