Responsibilities

  • Prepares, coordinates, submits and follows up on files to the competent authorities for the issuance of the necessary building and construction permits for Units and Projects of the General Division
  • Assists in updating the archive of urban planning permits and copies of Urban Planning Licensing Files related to the Company's Production activities
  • Contributes to the drafting and submission of dossiers for the issuance of production, installation and operation permits for Production Units
  • Assists in the preparation of technical specifications and project budgets arising from urban planning obligations
  • Contributes to land registry procedures for the purchase or expropriation of land necessary for the development of new or expansion of existing facilities
  • Supports the cadastral regularization of PPC's property related to Power Production Stations
  • Provides support and oversight to existing Production Units regarding urban planning compliance and ensures timely resolution and/or settlement of any pending issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a University or College in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering from a Polytechnic School
  • At least five (5) years of relevant experience in urban planning licensing matters, preferably in large industrial projects
  • License to practice the profession of Civil or Architectural Engineer, corresponding to the field of study
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Good knowledge of the English language
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Internet
  • Availability in case of emergency (upon phone contact)
  • Availability for urgent geographical relocations
