About the Role

The
AI Innovation Specialist
will play a pivotal role in identifying, designing, and overseeing innovative projects that leverage Artificial Intelligence and digital tools to enhance the foundation's global operations, efficiency, and social impact.

This position bridges
technology, strategy, and purpose
— ideal for a professional who combines analytical thinking
with integrity, responsibility, and a tactful mindset
. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion, and communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively across diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities

· Analyze organizational workflows and identify opportunities where AI and automation can create value.

· Develop proposals and concept notes for AI-driven initiatives aligned with the foundation's mission.

· Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and engaging manner.

· Research, evaluate, and collaborate with external technology partners and vendors.

· Oversee implementation to ensure quality, confidentiality, and strategic alignment.

· Stay informed on global trends in Artificial Intelligence, automation, and digital innovation in the nonprofit sector.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science
, or a related field.

· Postgraduate studies and/or relevant experience in
Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation, or Innovation Strategy
.

· Proven ability to connect
business challenges with technology-based solutions.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.

· Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and confidentiality in managing information and collaborations.

· Shows discretion, tact, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

· Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in roles that combine
technology and strategy
(e.g., digital consulting, innovation management, or partnerships).

· Familiarity with project management methodologies and vendor coordination.

· Interest in social innovation, philanthropy, and global development initiatives.
