Logistics/Operations Associate - Late shift

Based in Thessaloniki | Ref: USE - 0425

Its Greek subsidiary, VIPA Hellas, is headquartered in Thessaloniki (G&G Office Complex, Mediterranean Cosmos area) and employs more than 300 people in Greece, achieving constant dynamic growth in both operations and manpower. We are looking for a professional who will be working on a shift of 18:00 - 02:00 or 16:00 - 00:00. We are looking for professionals who are based mainly in Thessaloniki, however, we are considering applications from applicants all over Greece.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Handling imports and exports procedures (sea or/and land transportation)

  • Daily communication with transportation companies to ensure proper handling of shipments

  • Communication with suppliers and clients regarding Logistics issues

  • In charge of Data Entry and Electronic Document Management

  • Collaborating with colleagues in order to ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Degree in Logistics or Business Administration

  • Previous experience in the shipping industry or transportation is necessary

  • Excellent knowledge of English

  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Customer-centric approach

  • Critical thinking skills

  • Ability to perform under pressure and deadlines
