Global Mobility Services (GMS)
Advisory practice, we are seeking to recruit a
Tax Advisor
to join our vibrant worldwide Network of Global Mobility Services (GMS) Advisory practice. As a Tax Advisor, you will support the team in delivering high-quality advisory and compliance services to KPMG's diverse client portfolio. You will receive extensive training, gain hands-on experience, and have the opportunity to build a strong foundation in tax, international mobility, and global workforce advisory.

Key Responsibilities

The main tasks may be summarized but are not limited to the following:

• Assist in supporting companies and individuals in mitigating risks of double taxation and ensuring compliance with Greek tax standards.
• Participate in reviewing and preparing annual tax returns (E1, E2, E9) using the taxisnet platform.
• Support the team in handling international tax matters, including tax briefings, expatriate taxation, basic immigration procedures, social security topics, and equity-based compensation reporting.
• Contribute to the preparation and implementation of expatriate policies and mobility guidelines.
• Assist in providing international payroll and employment tax advisory services.
• Help prepare documentation, reports, and correspondence for clients under the supervision of senior colleagues.
• Conduct research on tax legislation, global mobility trends, and new regulatory developments.
• Contribute to client service activities by maintaining accurate files, organizing data, and ensuring timely follow-ups.

Candidate Profile

• University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A postgraduate degree will be considered an asset.
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience in tax, accounting, or business consulting (internships or part-time experience are welcome).
• Strong willingness to develop expertise in international tax and expatriate services.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
• Solid computer literacy, including MS Office; familiarity with the taxisnet platform is a plus.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
• Team-oriented mindset, adaptability, and a proactive approach.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
• Certificate of completion of a tax seminar will be considered a plus.
