, on behalf of our client, a leading Greek company in the heavy industry sector,is seeking a
Junior/Mid Automation Engineer
to join the Maintenance Department at its facilities in Oinofyta. This role reports to the Head of Electrical and Automation Engineering.

Junior/Mid Automation Engineer (Ref. 6078/AE/ESS/GR)

Responsibilities:

  • Support all maintenance and repair activities of the factory equipment (PLC, HMI, sensors, inverters).
  • Perform PLC (TIA Portal) and SCADA programming.
  • Participate in new installation and automation projects.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance machine operation and support other initiatives.
  • Monitor the spare parts inventory (electrical equipment) in the warehouse.
  • Ability to respond to urgent on-call requirements.

Key Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering from a Technical Institution.
  • At least one year of previous experience in the same role within an industrial environment.
  • Basic knowledge of PLC/HMI programming (SIEMENS).
  • Knowledge of AUTOCAD and SEE Electrical software is considered a competitive advantage
  • Familiarity with sensors, AC/DC motors, servos, and industrial networks (Profibus, Profinet, etc.) is a preferred plus.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in interpreting electrical drawings.
  • Strong willingness to learn and work in a team-oriented environment.
