We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Automation and SCADA Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced industrial automation systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in PLC programming, SCADA development, and system integration across a range of industrial applications.

As a senior member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading automation projects from concept to commissioning, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring the highest standards of system performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:


• Lead the design, programming, and commissioning of PLC, HMI, and SCADA-based control systems.


• Develop, test, and optimize control logic for complex automation processes using major PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi).


• Design and configure SCADA systems (WinCC, Ignition, Wonderware, Citect, iFIX, etc.) for monitoring and control.


• Oversee system integration with field devices, instruments, and networks using industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA, etc.).


• Conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site commissioning to ensure reliable system operation.


• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, control narratives, and operation manuals.


• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior automation engineers and technicians.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver automation solutions aligned with process, safety, and production goals.


• Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade existing automation and SCADA systems to improve efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications and Skills:


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.


• 5+ years of proven experience in PLC programming, automation system design, and SCADA development.


• Strong hands-on experience with at least one major PLC platform (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley Studio 5000, Schneider EcoStruxure).


• Proficiency in HMI/SCADA configuration and scripting for process visualization and control.


• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols and network architectures.


• Experience in control panel design, instrumentation, and electrical drawings.


• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills.


• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time.


• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally for site commissioning and support.

Preferred Qualifications:


• Experience in process industries such as water treatment, oil & gas, power, or manufacturing.


• Familiarity with functional safety systems (SIL, IEC 61508/61511) and safety PLCs.


• Knowledge of Industrial IoT (IIoT), data acquisition, and cloud-based SCADA integration.


• Experience with database integration, reporting tools, or scripting languages (e.g., Python, VB, SQL).


• Project management or team leadership experience.
