Risk Management Senior Specialist
.

The jobholder will be responsible for overseeing the identification, measurement, and management of credit, debtor, and operational risks associated with the company's leasing operations. The role requires strong analytical skills, sound business judgment, and the ability to provide insights that ensure informed decision-making, compliance, and sustainable portfolio performance.

What you will be doing

• Monitor daily issues related to Credit Risk, Debtor Risk, and Operational Risk, ensuring accurate categorization and reporting for leasing transactions
• Prepare quarterly, semi-annual, and annual risk reports incorporating analyses such as portfolio stress tests and debtor risk assessments
• Generate monthly reports on Operational Risk and company profitability, utilizing advanced tools and systems to track leasing performance
• Record operational risk incidents in the company's internal systems, collecting and verifying information from various departments involved in leasing operations
• Compile and submit monthly Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to management, gathering data from relevant departments including sales, collections, and finance
• Assess and interpret risk results related to clients and debtors, applying expertise to ensure accurate evaluations and minimize exposure
• Participate in the updating, implementation, and control of new tasks within the risk management system, ensuring alignment with leasing-specific processes
• Engage in internal audits and reviews, ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of risk management frameworks
• Prepare and deliver presentations for the Risk Management Committee, integrating internal and external market data relevant to leasing risks
• Support the development of policies, methodologies, and procedures for effective risk monitoring, control, and reporting

What you need to have

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, or a related field
• A Master's degree in Risk Management, Finance, or related fields will be considered an asset
• A minimum of seven (7) years of working experience in Risk Management, with a strong background in financial risk analysis, regulatory compliance, and operational risk frameworks
• Solid understanding of credit and debtor risk assessment methodologies, stress testing, and key performance indicators
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to synthesize data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and other risk management systems
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to financial leasing and risk reporting
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions, with commitment to accuracy, transparency, and continuous improvement
