Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of events from A to Z, ensuring alignment with client objectives, from small-scale meetings to large conferences.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their requirements and expectations.
  • Develop innovative event concepts and themes in collaboration with creative teams.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancements to maximize event success and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct strategic venue research and negotiation to secure optimal locations.
  • Oversee vendor and supplier management, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive event budgets and financial reporting.
  • Supervise and optimize logistical operations, from event setup to teardown.
  • Anticipate potential risks and develop proactive contingency plans.
  • Provide leadership to internal teams and freelancers, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring accountability.
  • Create and present detailed project documentation and reports using tools like Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Report progress and key updates to the management team.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Manager in event production or a related industry.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Fluency in English (other languages are a plus), with strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, including experience with cross-functional teams and freelancers.
  • Financial acumen, including budget management and invoice processing.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or similar tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with corporate event production, both physical and digital, and a solid understanding of the local corporate market are considered assets.
