Job Description :

We are currently seeking for an Engineer to join our team in Greece. The successful candidate will be trained by the company to undertake the position of Electrical Engineer, responsible to produce electrical design, engineering and develop Power Generating facilities including Energy Storage, Hydrogen, Solar, Wind, Microgrids, Gas-Powered Generation (Advanced Gas, Biogas, Natural Gas) and CHP plants, providing input and support at all stages of a project from sales through to installation.

Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Translate and develop conceptual designs into designs to meet the functional and contractual specifications of secured orders, drawing out specifications, calculations and component selection.
  • Support and assist in the sales stage of a project by taking responsibility for ensuring that conceptual design and tender preparation documents are provided to meet the timescales and quality standards required for presentation to the customer/potential customer.
  • Develop the general arrangements included in a tender into a full suite of design deliverables including:

  • General single line diagrams.

  • Detailed wiring lists, interface lists components schedules, block diagrams, containment drawings termination schedules etc.

  • Liaise with:

  • Relevant Clarke Energy personnel, within the Engineering and other functions, on all aspects of the projects developing design

  • Sub-contractors to resolve design and/or implementation issues as they arise.
  • Site Engineers during the installation phase of the project to support and resolve issues as necessary.

  • Attend site to undertake:

  • Site surveys to fully capture all project related data.

  • 'As-Built' installation survey necessary to amend construction issued deliverables.

  • Provide support to the Project Manager during the installation commissioning and testing phase of the project, ensuring the timely production of all necessary documentation.

  • Ensure that there is a full adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management policies and procedures in all work undertaken.

Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills

  • Good understanding of electrical and/or mechanical engineering.
  • Understanding of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental issues.
  • Good IT skills – Word, Excel, etc
  • Basic coaching skills

Recruitment and succession requirements

Essential

  • Degree in Engineering from Technical University (AEI-TEI)
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience of working in power generation and/or automation projects.
  • Full EU Driving License
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D draughting package
  • Good IT skills – Word, Excel, etc
