Join the AGS Specialists Team in Europe Central as a Specialist Solutions Architect for Analytics for Europe Central.

Role is based out of Athens, Greece; responsibilities will cover segments and regions across the Europe Central area.

AWS Global Sales (AGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Key job responsibilities

• As Specialist Solution Architect for Analytics, you will be responsible for supporting adoption and utilization of AWS Analytics services for high propensity focus customers in Europe Central.
• You will gather customer and industry needs and partner with AWS product teams to innovate, develop, and deliver AWS solutions.
• Specialist Solution Architects are technically savvy resources (L400+) responsible for helping customer to adopt AWS services, remove blockers for service adoption, influencing the AWS product roadmap, and driving usage of your AWS service(s).
• You will collaborate with your Sales and Go to Market counterparts to influence GTM strategies and sales plays for new or existing services; you will also identify gaps in AWS products or feature sets based on customer insights and partner with internal product teams and account managers to win strategic customer workloads and drive business revenue.
• You will work on thought leadership and reusable assets and demos to help customers adopt AWS services.

About The Team
The Specialists Analytics team positions AWS as the best place to run Data & AI/ML workloads. Our team helps customers become data-driven organizations and implement Analytics capabilities at scale, in close collaboration with Data and AI/ML teams.

The Specialists organization works backwards from customers to build and execute go-to-market plans. Specialists teams include business development, specialist sales, and technical solutions architecture skills. As part of the Specialists team, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. We pride ourselves on thinking big, delivering exceptional results for our customers, and working across AWS as #OneTeam.

Basic Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Analytics technologies and tooling, including: Data Warehouses/Lakes, Batching and streaming data pipelines, data management/governance, visualization, with solid understanding of core AI/ML concepts;
• BA/BS degree in computer science, software engineering, or another technical discipline, OR equivalent experience;
• Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics);
• Customer-facing skills, with track record of building rapport with Executive-level stakeholders at customers and internally

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts
• Experience in Data Strategy, Data Science and Machine Learning/AI use cases
• Track record of implementing cloud services across diverse business environments
• Professional certifications in cloud and data technologies
• Experience working with Technology Partners (Software Vendors, System Integrators) in the data & Analytics space, as well as working with end user or developer communities
