The Role in a Nutshell 

The Senior Solution Architect focuses on the detailed design and implementation of solutions within the enterprise architecture framework. They are responsible for ensuring that solution designs meet business needs while adhering to architectural standards.

• Solution Design: Lead the design of technical solutions that meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture.
• Integration: Ensure seamless integration between new and existing systems, addressing interoperability and data flow requirements.
• Technology Selection: Evaluate and recommend technology platforms and tools to meet project and business needs.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and development teams to ensure requirements are translated into effective technical solutions.
• Compliance with Architecture: Ensure that all solution designs comply with the organization's enterprise architecture standards and frameworks.
• Documentation and Standards: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of solution designs, technical architecture, and deployment plans.

• 8+ years of experience in IT, including at least 4 years in a Solutions Architect role, designing and delivering scalable solutions.
• Strong expertise in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Solid understanding of application architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, SOA, APIs) and system integration techniques
• Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, automation) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficiency with databases (both relational and NoSQL) and knowledge of data management best practices
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and business teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
