Company Overview

We are a fast-growing Greek company, part of the Mercan Group of companies with over 35 years of presence, operating in the Golden Visa and hospitality sectors in Greece, providing high-quality investment, real estate, and accommodation services to international clients. We are seeking a motivated Junior Legal Counsel to join our in-house legal team and support the company's expanding operation.

Position Overview

  • Handle and support all 
    Golden Visa processes
    , documentation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate 
    commercial contracts
     with partners, suppliers, and clients.
  • Assist in 
    real estate
     due diligence, property transactions, and related legal documentation.
  • Provide legal support on 
    labour law
     matters.
  • Ensure the company's compliance with 
    data protection (GDPR)
     requirements.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare internal memos, reports, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders (law firms, public authorities, clients).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in law (LL.B.) from an accredited university; eligibility to practice law in Greece. An LL.M. in English, especially in a relevant sector, will be considered as a plus.
  • Fluency in English
    , both written and spoken.
  • Previous experience in 
    Golden Visa
     procedures is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and strong communication skills.
