Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Lawyer at our Athens office. The Associate Lawyer will manage a variety of responsibilities, including providing legal advice, drafting and reviewing contracts, participating in negotiation processes, and conducting legal research. The role also involves representing clients in insolvency and restructuring cases, along with ensuring compliance with laws and regulations in commercial and corporate matters. The position requires collaboration with a team of legal professionals to deliver exceptional client service.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience practicing law.
  • Attorney with substantial courtroom experience and the capacity for regular court appearances.
  • Strong understanding and experience in Commercial Law, Corporate Law, and Company Law
  • Expertise in Insolvency procedures, Pre-Bankruptcy processes, and Restructuring cases
  • Proficiency in Legal Research, Contract Drafting, and Negotiation
  • Effective communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
  • Problem-solving and ability to provide strategic legal solutions
  • Fluency in Greek and English; additional languages are an asset
  • Degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); admission to the Bar Association in Greece is required
  • Prior experience in the commercial and financial legal sector is highly valued
