Position Overview:

As a Tax Associate in our Tax Department, you will play a key role in advising our clients on a wide range of tax matters, with a focus on international taxation. You will work alongside experienced tax professionals in a dynamic and collaborative team, handling complex issues related to both domestic and international tax law. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in a prestigious firm and make a significant impact in the field of taxation.

Key Responsibilities:

●     Advise clients on a broad spectrum of tax matters, including corporate tax, international tax, and VAT.

●     Assist with tax audits and handle tax disputes.

●     Assist in structuring and executing cross-border transactions.

●     Draft legal opinions.

●     Provide guidance on tax compliance, planning, and strategies to mitigate risks.

●     Work closely with other departments such as Corporate and M&A, ensuring seamless advice on tax implications for transactions.

●     Stay updated with the latest tax legislation, developments, and case law.

Qualifications:

●     Bachelor's degree in Law from a top-tier Greek university.

●     Postgraduate degree in Tax Law from a well-accredited institution.

●     Legal qualification (Athens Bar admission or other relevant Bar in Greece).

●     3–5 years of experience as a tax lawyer in Greece.

●     Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.

●     Excellent technical knowledge of tax law and tax procedure law.

●     Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

●     Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
