ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Marketing Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering HarborLab's marketing strategy during a maternity cover period. This is a hands-on, generalist role where you'll manage social media, oversee events, and run campaigns that build awareness, drive demand, and strengthen our brand across the maritime ecosystem.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Develop a clear marketing strategy aligned with HarborLab's business goals.

• Define customer personas (ship owners, operators, agents, vendors) and map value propositions for each.

• Support go-to-market planning for new product features and regional expansion.

• Create compelling content (case studies, blogs, white papers, presentations) to showcase HarborLab's impact.

• Translate complex product features into clear customer value.

• Build HarborLab's voice in industry media and digital channels.

• Run multi-channel campaigns (SEO/SEM, LinkedIn, events, webinars).

• Optimize digital presence to increase visibility and lead generation.

• Partner with sales on account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives.

• Identify co-marketing opportunities with associations, port authorities, and tech partners.

• Support HarborLab's presence at global maritime events, conferences, and panels.

• Define and track KPIs (pipeline, lead generation, CAC, conversion rates).

• Analyze performance data to optimize campaign impact.

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE

Required

• 5+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, ideally in logistics, supply chain, or industrial tech.

• Proven ability to design and execute demand generation campaigns.

• Strong content creation skills for both technical and business audiences.

• Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, PipeDrive, Google Analytics).

• A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Knowledge of the maritime industry or willingness to dive deep into shipping operations.

• Experience marketing AI or data-driven software solutions.

• International marketing experience (Europe, Asia, Americas).

• Additional language skills relevant to target regions.
