Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Athens for a Hotel Receptionist. The Hotel Receptionist will manage front desk operations, greet and assist guests, handle reservations, up-selling, and ensure smooth communication internally as well as for guest inquiries via phone and in person. Additional responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, maintaining accurate records, and addressing all guest needs professionally and courteously.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry with minimum 2 years is required
  • University diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in hospitality management is a benefit
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide a welcoming and professional guest experience
  • Experience with receptionist duties, including guest check-in and check-out processes
  • Proficiency in managing reservations and bookings
  • Excellent phone etiquette and effective communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
