Purpose of the Role
This role is critical in bringing the adidas brand to life across physical retail spaces by leading Visual Merchandising and Product Training strategies. It drives impactful consumer experiences and elevates execution standards across SEE, ensuring commercial and brand consistency.
What You Will Do
- Lead the rollout of Visual Merchandising and Product Learning programs in South East Europe, ensuring alignment with EU direction while adapting to local priorities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Brand, and Omnichannel Activation to drive consistent brand experiences across all consumer touchpoints.
- Translate seasonal commercial and brand strategies into compelling in-store visual execution at both category and product levels.
- Oversee seasonal VM and product training calendars, aligned with key commercial milestones and campaign launches.
- Support store openings and remodels with VM planning and execution, ensuring alignment with brand and commercial goals.
- Define requirements for Retail Space Management (RSM) solutions and manage branded space negotiations in line with global guidelines and stakeholder input.
- Guide the delivery of both digital and in-person training to enhance brand and product knowledge across internal teams and retail partners.
- Manage relationships with external VM and training agencies to ensure high-quality, cost-effective execution and program evolution.
- Support budget management for assigned projects, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control.
- Act as a support partner during the seasonal sell-in process to ensure alignment of VM and product training priorities.
- Use data and performance insights to continuously improve the effectiveness of VM and training activities.
- Lead the segmentation and prioritization of support doors across SEE to maximize brand visibility and commercial return.
- Coach and develop a high-performing internal team and partner network, ensuring leadership, engagement, and delivery excellence.
Skills You Will Need
- 3-5 years of experience in Visual Merchandising and/or Product Training, ideally within a multi-country retail or wholesale environment.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Strategic thinker with an eye for detail and execution excellence.
- Ability to translate global direction into effective local activation.
- Experience managing external partners or agencies.
- Strong analytical skills to measure impact and drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
