About the role

ISF is seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer with at least 5 years of Salesforce consulting experience to join our team. This position is based at our Moschato office in Athens, Greece, and requires a minimum of two days per week on-site. The successful candidate will report directly to the Principal and work in close coordination with the Salesforce Technical Application/Platform Owner, based in the UK.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimising the ISF's Salesforce organisation to ensure it remains robust, efficient and aligned with business needs. You will be participating in Salesforce-related projects including scoping exercises, bug fixes and system enhancements. You will also ensure full compliance with Salesforce quarterly releases, proactively identify potential issues and implement solutions in line with Salesforce best practices to maintain operational excellence and improve overall business efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead internal client discovery sessions to understand business requirements and objectives.
• Design scalable Salesforce solutions that align with internal client business goals.
• Configure and develop Salesforce functionality, including Web-faced solutions across Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience Cloud and Pardot.
• Provide training, documentation and post-launch support to ensure successful adoption.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers and other consultants to deliver successful project delivery.
• Partner closely with the Salesforce Technical Application/Platform Owner to manage project-based tasks and ongoing support.
• Analyse the existing Salesforce organisation and recommend efficiency and performance enhancements.
• Maintain and update of Flows, Apex classes/triggers, assignment rules and other Salesforce components.
• Take ownership of tier-2/3 service desk requests including bug fixes, configuration updates and other related tasks.
• Responsible for maintaining the security of ISF Information assets, as directed by the Information Security Policy, associated policies and the security education, training, and awareness programme.

Bringing strong leadership in Salesforce implementations, you will guide project teams to success and leverage your expertise in solution design and architecture to build high-performing, future-ready Salesforce systems that drive business growth.

Essential requirements and skills

• Fluency in both spoken and written English.
• University or Technological Educational Institution degree in a technology-related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in API development, software/platform integration, data modelling and security models.
• Hands-on experience across Sales, Service, Marketing and Experience Cloud.
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and other relevant Salesforce technologies.
• Track record of delivering integration projects, ideally involving finance and events systems and other enterprise platforms.
• Proven experience in creating clear and comprehensive Salesforce documentation.
• Exceptional competence with reporting and analytics tools.
• Excellent communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Skilled at driving collaboration across essential teams.
• Strong decision-making, multitasking and problem-solving skills in a fast-changing environment.

Desirable requirements and skills

• Relevant Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer 1 & 2, App Builder, ADM-201 or ADM-211.
• Background in project management and ITSM solutions such as Atlassian JIRA.
• Practical knowledge of Pardot configuration and development.
• Familiarity with additional programming languages, relational databases, communication protocols and development frameworks.
