Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership

Act as the senior point of contact for key clients.

Build long-term relationships, ensuring satisfaction and growth.

Translate client business objectives into actionable strategies.

Account & Business Growth

Drive organic growth by identifying new opportunities within existing accounts.

Lead pitches/proposals for new projects.

Manage budgets, profitability, and revenue targets across accounts.

Team Leadership

Oversee Account Managers, Executives, and support staff.

Mentor and develop talent, setting clear objectives and career paths.

Ensure seamless collaboration across creative, strategy, and media teams.

Strategic Oversight

Align campaigns with client business goals and KPIs.

Guide creative and media strategy with data-driven insights.

Monitor campaign performance, ensuring excellence in delivery.

Agency Representation

Represent the agency in senior-level client meetings.

Contribute to agency thought leadership, case studies, and industry reputation.

Prerequisites & Qualifications

Experience

6–10+ years in account management or client services, ideally in advertising, marketing, or media.

Proven track record of managing multiple large accounts or brand portfolios.

Experience leading cross-functional teams and handling senior client stakeholders.

Skills

Strong client relationship & communication skills.

Strategic thinker with commercial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, P&L management).

Ability to manage complexity — balancing client needs, creative vision, and business goals.

Leadership: coaching, motivating, and retaining top account talent.

Analytical mindset: comfortable using data to guide strategy and evaluate performance.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.

MBA or advanced degree is a plus (not always required).
