About the role

• Ensuregrowth in sales and margin via pricing, product assortment, promotions
• DefineAssortment and distribution per supplier
• Review and design of shop layouts
• Build adynamic and healthy product assortment via regular performance analysis andlistings/de listings
• Provideinput to Global Category and Local Commercial Director on category strategy,tactical execution and commercial plan and budget
• Coordinatewith Operations on Execution and Commercial Plan Implementation
• Setup Promotions with local vendors and input into thesystem
• Coordinate on staff training with vendors andoperations
• Develop newbusiness opportunities and identify improvement areas in handling, structuringand negotiating with suppliers
• Review &Control Orders from Operations
• Ordermonitoring until delivery
• Effectiveand efficient stock monitoring and management in alignment with annual salesbudget
• Ensure goodsdestructions are minimized through efficient monitoring and commercial actions
• Drive andcontinuously improve category best practices through concrete follow-up andreporting
• Accountablefor reporting - price & margin deviations, category strategy execution andoperational progress to Commercial Director
• Capture anddevelop category and industry expertise on optimal assortment on a local leveland ensure implementation in operations
• Coordinate, Learnand efficiently collaborate with people within the category and Department
• Ensurecooperation with other departments
• Specificresponsibilities as required by Country Commercial Director

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα:

What we are looking for

• 5 years of sales or commercial experience
• Proven experience in retail categories such as tobacco/alcohol/spirits is a strong asset
• Experienced in cooperating within a global business environment
• Strong background in business development and team leadership
• Experience in SAP is a bonus
• Strategic mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong negotiation and supplier management abilities
• Project management expertise
• Ability to mobilize and inspire high-performing teams
• Fluent in English and Greek (other languages an asset)
• Excellent IT literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet)
