Superintendent Electrician – Tanker Vessels

AVIN INTERNATIONAL LTD is seeking an experienced Superintendent Electrician to provide technical support for maintenance, troubleshooting and onsite repair of the electrical systems onboard its vessels. The role requires hands-on professional knowledge and experience of diagnosing and repairing electrical and automation faults, often under time-sensitive conditions.

Specifically

  • Provides remote and on-site troubleshooting and repair, and if necessary, organize workshop repairs, for vessel's electrical and electronic equipment
  • Collaborates with the crew and other Company's departments to achieve optimal ship performance and resolve deficiencies of electronic and electrical nature
  • Manages spare parts inventory and procurement for electrical equipment

Requirements

  • Experience as a Superintendent /Fleet Electrician, and/or minimum 5 years' experience as ETO (Electrotechnical Officer) onboard tanker vessels
  • Work experience in shore electrical/electronic workshops will count positively
  • Flexibility to travel and work onboard vessels when required
  • Good communication skills; ability to collaborate with vessel crew and technical teams
  • Possession of an academic degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, from a recognized Technical Institution
