HSQE & Marine Superintendent

Seamar Management S.A., part of a Nasdaq-listed group, managing an expanding fleet of dry-bulk carriers, seeks an experienced HSQE & Marine Superintendent. Responsibilities:

• Perform internal ISM/ISPS and ISO9001/14001 audits and report findings according to the Company's Safety Management System.
• Perform training on board vessels, related to audit findings, HSQE campaigns, results of PSC / Flag inspections, etc.
• Carry out Navigational/ VDR audits and Risk assessment reviews.
• Thorough knowledge of Navigational procedures and Requirements with the ability to conduct VDR Remote Audits.
• Responsible for the deck maintenance of the fleet assigned.
• Ensuring compliance and efficient implementation of the Company's Integrated Management System and International Regulations onboard vessels.

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate should have a minimum 3 years of seagoing service up to Captain Class A or B and preferably at least 2 years of office experience in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and training skills with the ability to conduct risk assessments, training onboard the vessels, and development of Campaigns.
• Strong leadership, communication skills and teamwork spirit are imperative.
