Role Overview

We are hiring a
Trade Integration & Policy Engagement Officer
to contribute to applied policy research, institutional landscape analysis, and strategy advisory engagements centered on port infrastructure, cross-border logistics, and regulatory reform. This remote position is ideal for professionals with a background in trade policy, regional development, or public-sector technical assistance—particularly those who enjoy bridging global frameworks with local implementation realities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support thematic research on trade architecture, port competitiveness, and corridor resilience
  • Contribute to mapping institutional governance structures, trade facilitation protocols, and regulatory alignment initiatives
  • Draft technical briefs, situation assessments, and country profiles for advisory deliverables
  • Track developments in regional trade ecosystems, port reform strategies, and infrastructure investment agendas
  • Collaborate with global consultants to contextualize international trade best practices to the Mediterranean region
  • Assist in knowledge product development for client presentations and stakeholder briefings

Candidate Profile

  • Academic background in Trade Policy, Development Economics, Public Administration, or related field
  • 2–5 years' experience in applied policy work, regional integration, or logistics-sector advisory
  • Experience with multilateral organizations, EU programs, or public sector modernization is a plus
  • Strong research and synthesis skills, with the ability to draft well-structured policy material
  • Fluency in English is required
