The Role

We are looking for a Legal Associate with great enthusiasm for the event ticketing industry to join our team in Marousi, Athens (on-site).

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review and provide advice on contracts with customers, suppliers, partners and others, including commercial and legal agreements (such as NDAs and DPAs).
  • Prepare corporate documents (General Meeting minutes and BoD resolutions) and advise on day-to-day corporate matters, as well as prepare and amend terms and conditions.
  • Advise the business on compliance and legal issues related to the structuring of new and existing products, including GDPR and data protection matters.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and other company's departments to raise awareness of legal and compliance risks.
  • Where appropriate, appoint, brief, manage and oversee external legal advisors.
  • Draft, amend and implement company's policies and procedures, including those relating to privacy and data protection (GDPR).
  • Keep abreast of legal and regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law.
  • Master's degree in Civil, Corporate or Commercial Law will be considered a plus.
  • At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in a company's legal department.
  • Knowledge and experience in GDPR, civil, corporate and commercial law as well as commercial agreements.
  • Interest and/or knowledge Digital Services Law and/or Intellectual Property Law will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
  • Strong team spirit, initiative and innovative thinking.
