A leading company specializing in the import & distribution of high-quality food & pet products: Category Marketing Manager
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category marketing plans across all channels to drive visibility, sales, and profitability
- Act as the primary point of contact for key suppliers, managing collaboration, negotiations, and joint business planning
- Plan and implement in-store promotions, activations, and trade marketing activities in collaboration with the sales team
- Monitor and evaluate category performance using tools such as IRI, Nielsen, and internal sales data
- Design and track marketing calendars, campaigns, and brand-focused events
- Prepare detailed reporting and analysis to support decision-making and supplier discussions
- Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Procurement, Finance) to ensure alignment on commercial strategy
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in category management, trade marketing, or brand management, preferably in FMCG
- Strong experience in working directly with suppliers and managing joint marketing plans and negotiations
- Familiarity with IRI, Nielsen, and reporting/BI tools such as Oracle ERP
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to marketing strategy
- Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Fluency in Greek and English
