ICAP Executive Search & Selection on behalf of its client, a leading IT company which contributes to the digital transformation of a wide range of business processes, expanding from supply chain and all the way to customer service, is actively seeking a prominent Accountant to join their team.

Accountant (5845/A/ESS/GR)

The chosen candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Manage all accounting transactions.

  • Participates budget forecasts.

  • Prepare financial statements in time.

  • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.

  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.

  • Ensure timely bank payments.

  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.

  • Prepare balance sheets and profit/loss statements.

  • Report on the company's financial health and liquidity

  • Audit financial transactions and documents.

  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.

  • Comply with financial policies and regulations.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an Assistant Accountant position.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and fiscal compliance practices.

  • Proficiency in working within ERP environments and strong Excel skills.

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Greek.

  • People management, communication and team spirit skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
