Responsibilities:

  • Designs, digitizes, and optimizes the data protection framework (including policies, procedures, rules, standards, and records of processing activities) across the PPC Group's companies
  • Oversees companies of the PPC Group regarding the operation of the data protection framework and the compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDRP)
  • Designs and carries out compliance monitoring activities (e.g. through audits)
  • Implements data protection framework in new subsidiaries of the PPC Group
  • Designs and carries out educational and awareness activities, and develops the informational material
  • Prepares companies for the acquisition of certifications related to personal data management
  • Monitors changes in the legislative and regulatory framework and coordinates projects to ensure compliance accordingly
  • Manages requests from the Data Protection Authority

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from a University, Technological Educational Institute or a College
  • A Master of Science will be an asset
  • At least 8 years of experience in the implementation of programs of compliance with the GDRP and the development of a framework for personal data protection, as well as data protection audits and projects related to the acquisition or the maintenance of certifications, such as ISO 27701, or similar standards
  • At least 2 years of experience in senior management positions in large organizations of wide scope and dispersion
  • Experience in large companies, preferably within a multinational corporation and/or group of companies, will be an asset
  • Possession of CIPP and CIPM certifications will be an asset
