We are looking for experienced Business Analysts with a specialisation in payment systems and services, to support a banking customer digital transformation project. The successful candidate will have solid experience in functional BA payments-related roles and a strong technical understanding. It is also expected that the candidate will have experience in industry-standard systems and solutions in the banking/finance industry and a personality comfortable and efficient with delivering quality solutions and improvements through mediation between relevant teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in business requirements gathering process, working closely with end users and implementation teams
  • Understand, improve and develop processes, and their implementation on the relevant systems, so as to improve end performance
  • Create business requirements documents and relevant documentation (functional specifications, gap analysis, user stories etc) and use them to guide implementation by the relevant teams
  • Work with the implementation team on data and process migration projects from existing/legacy solutions to new platforms
  • Work in alignment with customer's structure & culture as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field
  • 3+ years experience in BA roles in projects relevant to payment systems or services or compliance frameworks etc 
  • Working knowledge of payments in the GR/EU market, especially SWIFT, TARGET, DIAS as well as bulk or direct debits is required
  • Working familiarity with applicable compliance requirements for payments and credit transfer (e.g PSD,PSR) 
  • Strategic and analytical thinking
  • Comfortable working with reporting tools and relevant technologies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent business knowledge of the Greek and English languages is required

This is a full-time position in Athens, Greece, requiring physical presence. You must be located in Athens and legally permitted to work there (or can demonstrate solid plans to move there).
