Job Overview



We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Compliance Specialist to support our Finance Department in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and laws. The primary scope of this role is to assist in the preparation, review, and submission of tax returns and related documentation.




  • Assist in the preparation, review, and submission of tax returns and related documentation according to Greek tax regulations.
  • Support the day-to-day activities of the tax services team, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Participate in the implementation and ongoing management of electronic invoicing, e-Delivery Notes, and e-Books (myDATA) in compliance with Greek law.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external advisors on tax-related matters.
  • Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with all relevant tax legislation.
  • Contribute to process improvements and digitalization initiatives within the department.
  • Prepare reports as required by management.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and industry best practices.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Up to 3 years of relevant experience in a tax or accounting department will be considered an asset.
  • Eagerness to learn about finance, tax, and business processes.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel; any exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus but not required.
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to take initiative.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Good command of Greek and English, both spoken and written.
