We are enhancing our IT function with the addition of an experienced and detail-oriented
Senior IT Administrator
to oversee and modernize IT infrastructure across multiple sites within one of the
Neptune Group of Companies
. This hands-on role involves managing daily IT operations, ensuring system reliability, and leading initiatives in cloud integration, cybersecurity, and network optimization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation alongside the ability to align IT strategy with broader business objectives. While the role supports operations across various locations, a significant portion of activity is concentrated in the
West Attica area
, and proximity to this region would be advantageous.

The
Senior IT Administrator
will work closely with senior leadership and maintain a strong functional relationship with the Neptune Group IT Manager
.
Key accountabilities include:

Infrastructure Management

• Maintain a VMware environment with Dell servers.
• Manage local backups/restores.
• Oversee Cisco switches, Sophos XGS firewalls, and MikroTik wireless links.

Cloud & Modern Workplace

• Integrate local AD with Azure AD (AD Connect).
• Deploy and manage SharePoint/OneDrive and Microsoft Teams.
• Maintain a hybrid domain environment.

Cybersecurity & Policies

• Develop and enforce IT/security policies.
• Manage access controls, permissions, and data protection.
• Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity.

Leadership & Strategy

• Advise management on IT solutions aligned with business goals.
• Lead modernization projects and manage IT budgets.
• Provide guidance to other members of the IT function as well as end-users

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Senior IT Administrator.
• Strong in Microsoft tech (Windows Server, AD, M365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
• Proficient with VMware, Dell servers, Cisco gear, MikroTik, and 3CX systems.
• Experience with Sophos XGS firewalls and Veeam.
• Solid networking/troubleshooting skills.
• Able to support users, manage IT policies, and lead projects.
• Basic database understanding (SQL Server, MySQL) for issue resolution.
• Familiar with ODBC, SQL logs, and event viewers.
• Experienced in working with vendors to resolve system or DB issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft/Cisco certifications.
• Hands-on experience supporting ERP and WMS systems
• Background in logistics or automotive sectors.

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in Greek and English.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure with a hands-on and collaborative approach.
