Position: Compliance Officer (French Speaking)

Are you proactive, meticulous, and passionate about upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct? We are seeking a dedicated Compliance Officer fluent in French and English to strengthen our growing team. As a Compliance Officer, you will ensure our company operates within all regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines, helping to build a transparent and trustworthy workplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate alerts based on their priority and within set deadlines, following regulatory guidelines and client-specific procedures
  • Conduct thorough due diligence by gathering necessary supporting documents to build comprehensive analysis files
  • Carry out in-depth reviews of AML/CFT and financial risks, making informed decisions on each alert using predefined analysis frameworks provided by the client

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and writing abilities
  • Basic understanding of financial and banking systems
  • Knowledge of KYC and AML/CFT regulations and procedures
  • Experience analyzing account statements
  • Skilled in processing alerts, including clarifications and homonym checks
  • Awareness of unusual transactions and patterns indicative of suspicious activity
  • Proficient in performing enhanced due diligence reviews
  • Comfortable with basic computer operations and general PC use
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable with great attention to detail
  • Ability to handle repetitive tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts as required
  • Native or near-native proficiency in French
  • English language skills at B2 level or above
